Certianly troubling, and in need of change at an administrative level.  It does not seem to justify forcing someone to perform work without compensation at threat of fine or imprisonment (contempt of court).  While the accused has a right to fair trial, should they also have a right to the involintary servitude of others on their behalf?</description>
